As part of Mincon’s commitment to customer service, we are always evaluating prime locations for service centres. These vital facilities offer Mincon customers excellent turnaround times when it comes to sourcing drilling solutions and parts, as well as providing product support or expert consultation.
Although Mincon already had a number of key regions covered by its service footprint in continental USA, we wanted to bolster support for drillers in the mining, quarrying, and construction sectors. After extensive investigation, we opened a Mincon Service Center for the USA in Statesville, North Carolina. This facility is managed by our colleague and drilling industry veteran Stan Taylor, who boasts more than 25 years of experience in developing makets and servicing customers. With Stan at the helm, the Statesville Service Center will focus on supplying and servicing mines, quarries, and construction contractors in the South East region. The Mincon USA Statesville Service Center will supply Mincon DTH hammers and bits; Mincon’s Driconeq DTH drill pipe and accessories; and top-hammer products. The Service Center will also offer support services such as hammer service and repair as well as bit sharpening for both DTH and top-hammer drill bits.
The opening of the Stateville Service Center now expands Mincon’s service presence to seven locations across as many states. Additionally, we continue to manufacture our range of rugged, high-performance drill bits at our factory in Benton, Illinois. All Mincon hammers continue to be designed and manufactured at our state-of-the-art hammer manufacturing facility in Shannon, Ireland.
